The Elk Point Chamber of Commerce stands for the promotion of Elk Point and area businesses, monitoring municipal, provincial and federal governments; and championingmanaged growth in the local economy.

Our not for profit organization is totally made up of progressive volunteers that work together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of Elk Point and area.

The major benefit of being a member of the Elk Point Chamber of Commerce is the fact that the Chamber acts as a unified voice for our retail businesses as well as industry and professional firms. Other chamber member benefits include value added programs such as merchant rates, comprehensive group insurance, courier and natural gas just to name a few. The savings from these programs often offset the cost of membership.

Elk Point has a strong industrial and commercial business sector located in the Elk Point Business and Industrial Park. These very successful businesses serve the strong agriculture, and oil and gas industries.

Elk Point has a very strong retail sector in our downtown core. Businesses include a major grocery store The Co-op, Home Town Grocers, Rona Hardware, Circuit City, Fields, Elk Point Bakery, Drug Store, variety stores and numerous other services.

As well as promoting a strong business sector the Elk Point Chamber organizes and sponsors major events that bring in potential customers for all businesses. These events include our Canada Day Celebration and the Elk Point Christmas Extravaganza that happens the last Friday of November. This includes a parade, fireworks, entertainment and of course excellent Christmas shopping.
