Health Care Appreciation

The Town of Elk Point would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr. Oyebode, Dr. Ramful, Dr. Ashaolu, and all of our health care workers.

After practising in Elk Point for 16 years, Dr. Oyebode is relocating to southern Alberta and hopes to spend more time with his family. Dr. Ramful announced his retirement but will continue to work part time until a replacement physician is found. We wish both doctors all the best in their future endeavours and thank them for everything they’ve done over the years.

Dr. Ashaolu has been in Elk Point for a year now and will continue to practise in our community.

Deputy Mayor Smereka attended the Elk Point Hospital on December 17, on behalf of Mayor Young, Council, and all communities in our area, to honour our doctors and health care workers.
