(Text Amendment to Land Use Bylaw)
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, as amended, the Council of the Town of Elk Point proposes to adopt Bylaw No. 830/20 for the Town to enact:
The Land Use Bylaw No. 717/13 for the Town of Elk Point is hereby amended by adding the following:
PART FIVE – DISTRICT PROVISIONS
Subsection 5.9 Industrial (M) District
(2) (b) Discretionary Use (xiv) Retail Cannabis
A copy of the proposed bylaw may be reviewed and inspected by the public at the Town of Elk Point Office during the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
At 6:30 PM on July 13th, 2020, the Council of the Town of Elk Point will cause a Public Hearing to be held via Zoom and Facebook Live, at which time, objections or comments regarding the proposed bylaw may be given and received. Submissions in writing can be mailed, emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 780-724-2762 no later than 4:30 PM on July 10th, 2020.
