Elk Point has 2 cemeteries, one of which is owned and operated by the Town of Elk Point.

East Cemetery

The Town of Elk Point provides all-season maintenance and operations to the Elk Point East Cemetery. In the summer months, the Elk Point Public Works ensures that the grass is cut and ready for any funerals or visits. In the winter months, the Elk Point Public Works will also ensure that snow is removed from plots that need to be marked or dug up.

Elk Point West Cemetery

For more information on the Elk Point West Cemetery, please contact Glen Flanders at (780) 724-2269.

Burials & Plots

To arrange for a burial, reserve a plot or for more information about the Elk Point East Cemetery, please contact the Town of Elk Point Administration Office at
(780) 724-3810.

We do not arrange for funerals or headstones.

The cemeteries are open to the public 24 hours each day, seven days a week.

The Elk Point Public Works can assist you with grave locations (for Elk Point East Cemetery only) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
