Director of Emergency Management Message

I am very pleased to report that as of today, the Region of St. Paul active case count has dropped below 100. Currently we sit at 318 total cases, with 88 being active, and 230 recovering. We all hope for full and speedy recoveries for those who have tested positive. Information provided by AHS shows, to date, we have had no reported deaths. This information can be found at:

I personally want to thank each and every one of you who are following the latest Government restrictions regarding indoor and outdoor gatherings which came into effect December 8th. Additionally, the Chief Medical Officer of Health issued Public Health Order 42-2020 which deals with masks, gatherings, and business restrictions. To view the complete order:

All of us are reminded to continue following all public health orders and measures that are currently in place. Make sure you practice proper physical distancing, wear a mask and continue to frequently wash your hands.

Even though our holiday plans may look different this year, we can all find ways to celebrate safely. Traditions and rituals may change this year, but we all should be optimistic to what the future will bring. I want to wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season.
